Kop Jansen Nobby is afgelopen zaterdag 4 september KNHS Reserve Kampioen van Nederland klasse Z1 geworden!!! Nobby heeft voor het friese ras geschiedenis geschreven, namelijk nog nooit eerder heeft een fries zich zo hoog geplaatst in de klasse Z tijdens het NK. Nobby stond maar met een miniem verschil van 0,2% achter de nummer 1!!! Enkele paarden welke hoog scoorden tijdens het WK in Verden stonden ditmaal onder Nobby. Wij als stal zijn bijzonder trots dat de paarden welke wij zelf selecteren zo bijzonder goed presteren. De nummer 1 behaalde een score van 68,53 %, Nobby behaalde 68,33%!!!

Judith Pietersen reserve-kampioen 08-09-2010  En dat is een opmerkelijke en historische prestatie. De dressuursport wordt namelijk normaal gedomineerd door de warmbloedige KWPN paarden. Maar Pietersen vormde met haar koudbloedige Fries een mooie uitzondering. Ze rijdt voor de stallen van Ted Kop Jansen in Wapse en hoopt in de toekomst met haar andere Friesche paard Tsjabring zelfs op internationale Grand Prix wedstrijden uit te komen.

During this weekends Hippiade (www.hippiade.nl), the Dutch National Championships, 14 Friesian horses and riders were qualified to compete in dressage and driving, with their primary competitor breed, the Dutch and German Warmblood horses. Historically, Friesians are extremely rare at these nationals where only the very top of the dutch horses can compete. On Friday Sept 3, the Half Finals were held and the selected Friesian horses received good scores, claiming the middle field of the scores. On Saturday sept 4th, the Finals (where only 10 horses qualify) put Judith Pietersen on Kop Jansen NOBBY at second place in the Z1dressage, (comparable with USDF Level 3 dressage) with a total score of 232.333 (68.33 %). The other nine horses are all Dutch Warmbloods and this Res Champion proves that the Friesian horse is maturing to the higher levels of dressage and be competitive. Also, of course, Judith is a wonderful, disciplined rider and this shows in her training! We are convinced that accomplishments on this level will draw more attention to Sport Horse enthousiast and will put the Friesian horse on their shopping list. It should also encourage current owners to progress their horses.
